Quantity Surveying Support to Sub-contractors
Due to various circumstances sub-contractor X did not have the commercial team to deal with a £2.1m sub-contract fit out package with a Tier 1 contractor. Everett Commercial Ltd provided commercial support to administer the project, providing marked up drawings and electronic take off, using latest innovative quantification software . All variations, delays and loss and expense items agreed amicably, together with the Final Account. The sub-contractor is now undertaking Phase 2 under negotiated preferred status terms.
Project Management/ Contract Administration
On a particularly complex Grade 2* project, Everett Commercial Ltd assisted the developer to ensure that heritage and conservation standards were adhered to, whilst ensuring that cost and programme were not compromised. The result was that an iconic building was restored to it's new use as Apartments and the client has provided Everett Commercial Ltd with repeat business to undertake all their future work. We frequently work alongside Developers to provide that requisite resource that ensures that projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Resolution
Adjudication is a private matter and specific details cannot be provided but Everett Commercial Ltd have assisted Clients, Developers, Steelwork Contractors, Partition and fit companies etc. in production of Notice and Referral documentation, covering various disputed elements such as prolongation issues, disruption, quantum, CDM, asbestos, defects etc. Sometimes third party referrals are unavoidable but it is always Everett Commercials intention to try and resolve disputes without the need to refer to Adjudication or Arbitration.
